Mini-FCL: Everyday Literacy with Molly of Denali: The Big Gathering! (English)

The Everyday Literacy with Molly of Denali: The Big Gathering! mini-FCL are two sessions that engage families in active, hands-on learning experiences for families with kids ages 4-8 (and younger/older siblings). The workshops use creative play and exploration to introduce kids and grown-ups to digital and tangible tools that can be used to develop knowledge, practices and perspectives. The workshops foster these learning goals through:

• Active video viewing and discussions
• Collaborative, hands-on activities
• Digital game play
• Introducing ways for young children to explore, use and create different types of everyday texts
• Practicing executive function skills
